This Privacy Notice is intended to provide users with comprehensive information about the way Taxi Stockholm processes personal data through the usage of this App. This Notice will give you information about the data we collect and why, as well as how you can exercise your rights.
Taxi Stockholm follows the relevant legislation on personal data protection and continuously strives towards improved processing and protection of personal data. We believe this is of vital importance and want you to feel confident and comfortable with the services we offer.
We use the following principles in order to protect your privacy when you use our App:

We process your personal data mainly for the purpose of administering and executing your taxi experience in a correct, smooth and safe manner as well as for billing purposes. We collect and process personal data of our customers, both private and corporate.
In summary, when it comes to private accounts, we collect information such as: name, relevant location information, telephone number and in some cases, payment information if the customer does not wish to pay in the car. When it comes to corporate accounts, we collect information such as: name, organization number, information about the taxi rides, location, telephone, email.
Booking a taxi: Booking a taxi can be done with or without creating a profile. When booking without creating a profile, the payment will be done in the car. In this case, the personal data collected (name, telephone number, pick-up and drop-off address) will be collected in order to make sure that we can execute your taxi ride. If you create a profile we also collect your E-mail address.
Location information: When the App requests access to your location information, it does so with the purpose to be able to suggest nearby addresses and make your booking experience smoother. Location information is only used while the app is being used, i.e. the app does not use your location information in the background, that is when you are not using the app.
Push-Notifications: If you allow push-notifications, you will get a message when your booking status changes.
Booking confirmation: You will get a confirmation of your booking in the app.
Booking history: Your booking history is used to give you relevant address suggestions. The purpose is to give you a smoother booking experience. You can delete your booking history at any time, simply by uninstalling the app. Legal basis for storing this data are based on legitimate interest when you use our app.
Payment information: When it comes to payment information, you have the choice between paying in the car, via a Taxi Stockholm account or via card. Taxi Stockholm does not have access to information about your card or bank details. The card information is sent through a strongly encrypted connection directly to the bank and the payment is secured by DIBS Payment Gateway. When you save your credit card in our app you enter an agreement with Taxi Stockholm. You accept that Taxi Stockholm can charge your card for your trips and additional fee’s, like cost for waiting time.
Legal: We use contract as the legal basis for processing your personal data when you use our app.
When you contact us: The app provides with a possibility to contact Taxi Stockholm AB. You have the option to call the call center or customer service. If you get in touch with us via email, phone, post or other form of communication, we may keep records of those correspondences and their content in order to be able to respond to you or document your complaint.
We constantly work to maintain a high IT standard for our systems so that your personal data is kept safe. For example, we have earned ISO 27001(Information Security Management) certification. ISO 27001 is one of the most recognized standards for information security.
In addition to the technical safeguards we constantly review and ensure to put in place, we maintain organizational safeguards in order to ensure a comprehensive set of implemented security measures, such as: adequate employee training when it comes to personal data processing with the emphasis on the importance of confidentiality, physical security measures as well as ensuring a need-to-know need-to-access basis for our employees thereby limiting the access to your personal data to only those employees who need it to fulfill the purposes of the processing.
According to applicable law, you have a certain amount of rights when it comes to your personal data and its processing by personal data controllers such as Taxi Stockholm AB.
In the text below you will find short description of your rights and how you can exercise them. In summary: you have the right to know what we process on you and receive a copy, you have the right to correct or complete as well as delete your personal data or object to processing, subject to certain conditions.
Please note that we will always go through a verification process to check your identity before you can exercise your rights. In order to exercise your rights there are certain restrictions due to that Taxi Stockholm may not collect sufficient personal data in order to validate your identity.
Access to information:
You have the right to access the personal data we process on you to the extent that the access request is done in reasonable intervals and that fulfilling this request would not adversely infringe on other persons’ rights and freedoms. You are also entitled to obtain a copy of the personal data we process on you. This could mean that we will charge you an administrative fee to be able to meet your request.
How you make this request
Via the App, you can exercise your rights through the App: SELF SERVICE, to edit your profile (or non-profile) and the right to be forgotten (delete profile button)
If you want to exercise your rights outside of the App, there is a Subject Access Request (SAR) portal at www.taxistockholm.se where you can make a request. Response to your SAR is restricted if you are unable to respond to identity validation, i.e. via SMS and email which must match the profile stored.
Information rectification, deletion and objection to processing
We have built the app in a way that you can correct and complete your personal data through your profile so that it is always up-to-date. If you are experiencing technical issues with this, you are welcome to contact us so that we can help keep your personal data complete and accurate. See point (2) in 4.2 on how to do this. If you want to exercise your right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) it can be done directly via the App or SAR portal. You may also object to processing done with the purpose of direct marketing. When you share personal data with us, it is treated confidentially and mainly confined to Taxi Stockholm, but it may also entail your information to be submitted to, or becoming linked to, other records at our partners and suppliers.
When you book a taxi via the Taxi Stockholm app, the information necessary for that service is kept for 6 months and thereafter safely destroyed. Billing information is always stored in accordance with relevant laws which may result in storage of such information for more than 6 months.
Taxi Stockholm AB limits its international transfers of personal data to a minimum necessary to perform our services and analyze the usage of our app. We only transfer personal data with a basis for such transfers and considering the risks to the individual connected to such transfers.
International transfers to Canada: Taxi Stockholm AB transfers personal data to Canada in the event of a necessity of advanced troubleshooting on our environments. – Transfers to Canada are based on an adequacy decision brought by the European Commission for commercial organisations on the territory of Canada.
Taxi Stockholm AB reserves the right to make changes and amendments to this Privacy Notice at any time and for any reason. We will always make sure to have our Notice be freely available and easily accessible so that you may be informed of the content of this Privacy Notice by reading it on our website.
We only collect a limited amount of personal data necessary to deliver our service to you in a smooth and safe way. We use consent and contractual obligation as bases for processing done via our app. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your personal information for purposes other than what we specified.
We also make sure that your data is stored securely, and we delete all information deemed no longer necessary. We review our Privacy Notice periodically in order to make it better and give you more protection.
